Jamie and Tracey emailed me with a photo of their two dogs and asked if I could create a wedding stationery range around their two pets. The photo was of their dogs, dressed as a bridal couple, atop some hay bales. From all accounts they had taken the picture themselves and it was a pretty painless process to come up a suitable design for their save-the-date cards.
To support the concept of the invite being sent by the dogs i decided to construct a wedding heart out of things their dogs would probably like – bones, fire hydrants, kennels and paw prints. After that it was just a matter of choosing some fonts and colours. When it came to the wedding invitation design itself, Jamie and Tracey sent me two more pictures of their dogs. This time it was a little more tricky but eventually, by clear cutting the yellow rose, the gate-fold format proved to be a winner.
